Do you remember dreaming about what you wanted to be when you grew up? I do. I wanted to be a dancer. A Prima Ballerina in the New York City Ballet. I had it all planned out. I danced my way through grade school singing "animal crackers in my soup" all along the way. But as I got older I found out that my knees didn't want to "live the dream" like I did. I was stuck back at square one.

Along the journey to figure out who I was supposed to become, I traveled to California to see the hills of the southern coast and Florida to see the clear waters of the gulf. But throughout all my travels, I always found myself coming back home to my New Jersey roots with the family I love, friends I admire and the town that has my heart.

It wasn't until I met my husband, and found out what "true love" really is , that I realized what life is really all about. The sweet moments that expose life.

And it wasn't until after I changed my major 3 times, attended two colleges, and tried my hand at a few interesting jobs did I find my true passion and calling. And I finally figured out what my destiny was; to be a lifestyle photographer.

I love what I do. The opportunity to feel fulfilled from your work isn't something that everyone is fortunate enough to find. I'm so grateful that I have. And even though I wear big girl shoes now, I think of those ballet slippers I wore years ago often and am thankful for the journey they took me on.
